Building and Beyond…

April of 2024 marks our 10th year as stewards of this 80 acre fertile ground we get to call home at Triple Green Jade Farm.

We’ve come a long way since then and we have to keep reminding ourselves of all that we’ve accomplished in bringing this old farm back to life.

We’ve been continuously building out our business in complimentary directions when it comes to filling the gaps in local food, farm to table dinners and educational events.

This year the focus is going to be more on the infrastructures around the farm: the Breadery, the Barn and a major one, the Pavilion.

Many of you have asked about our event schedule for this year and while we’ve posted some classes and events for the upcoming season, we need to scale back a bit on in-person events in order to focus on the building projects.

But… that doesn’t mean we don’t want to see you at the farm.

Quite the opposite.

Come Lend a Hand

We will be hosting several Pavilion work parties during the summer and we would LOVE for you to come lend us a hand.

And it goes without saying that we’ll do our best to make sure you leave with good spirits and full bellies.

Once we have some dates set for volunteering we will let you know.

Until then we currently have two events scheduled and an Italian dinner on Mother’s Day at Trigo coming up that you can learn more about below:

Lastly I’ll be speaking this Thursday at the 2024 Adirondack Food Justice Summit at the Wild Center in Tupper Lake.

I’ve been asked to join a panel on Innovations in Food and Farming and will discuss some of the things that we’ve done here at the farm with agritourism and also talk about Trigo’s mission in supporting local food & farms.
