Farmers Market Season 2020

It’s been awhile since our extended baking break started in April, but we’re thrilled to get back to it, to be among our friends and the community of food and farming vendors.
With all of the new stuff (and animals) happening here at the farm, it means we need to be home more often, so this season we’ll only be attending two farmers markets.
While we will miss our friends at the Plattsburgh Farmers Market, we’ll be back delivering fresh breads and crackers to our wholesale accounts starting June 4th and every Thursday morning afterwards.
Saranac Lake Farmers Market
The Saranac Lake Farmers Market starts this Saturday, 5/30 and there are lots of new protocols to keep everyone safe and healthy.

Keene Farmers Market
The Keene Farmers Market starts this Sunday, 5/31 and also has new guidelines to follow so that we can avoid crowding on Marcy Field.
Volunteers Needed @ Markets
Both the Saranac Lake and Keene markets have asked for volunteers to help us out with social distancing, parking and crowd control.

New Online Farm Store
One of the other new things we got to work on during our break was to set-up a secure online ordering system.
Also, in order to get folks in and out of the farmers market efficiently, pre-ordering has really helped out.
- With payment online, we can reduce contact, as with cash
- If you’d like to pay in person, (using our contact-less card reader for example) you can select this option at Checkout.
- Pre-ordering helps us bring exactly what most folks are looking for
All we ask is that orders for the weekend markets are in by Thursday 6:00PM. This helps us prepare our sourdough starters and our baking schedule.
