PT Kitchen Help is needed @ Triple Green Jade Farm in Willsboro
If you are a foodie and you’re looking for some side work or just some fun in the kitchen, we’re looking for help on our farm that makes a number of value-added foods using local ingredients from our farm and other local farms.
If you have experience or want to learn more about making:
- Quiche
- Chicken Liver Pate
- Sauces
- Pot Stickers
- Pasta
- Chicken Salad
- Beef Bone Broth and more…
- then you might be a good fit for this part-time position.
Triple Green Jade Farm is a small organic, diversified farm on 80 acres bordering the Boquet River in Willsboro. At our farm we bake sourdough breads and gourmet crackers with freshly milled local and organic whole grains. We also raise pastured poultry, free range eggs, and have an emerging micro dairy. We also host events, educational classes, and farm to table dinners at the farm.
We sell our products at farmers markets, in area stores, at our farm store in Willsboro and in our newest retail location in Westport, called “Trigo.”
You would be helping us out immensely meet the demand for our customers who crave the little conveniences in having frozen or ready to cook items prepared for their family.
Plus you’d be helping to supercharge our purchases of other local foods from the farms we support and whose foods we love.
We’re starting at $16-18/hour DOE and you can work 1, 2 or 3 days a week, Mondays, Tuesdays or Wednesdays as we have large bread baking days the rest of the week.
We’d prefer to have you work 2 days a week, but we can be flexible. The work is not fast-paced. Good knife skills are helpful. The flavors are amazing and getting to work with the foods our Adirondack regional farms produce is a joy in itself.
